Milpitas High School students Wesley Leung and Ivy Nguyen were named Grand Prize Alternate winners in the biological sciences section of the 2008 Synopsys Silicon Valley Science and Technology Championships, held in San Jose in March, and represented Santa Clara County at the California State Science Fair, held May 19-20 in Los Angeles.
